Description A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support attorneys in a fast-paced insurance defense and general liability practice. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate. Responsibilities Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys. Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, motions, discovery, reports, and other legal documents. Assist with electronic filing and filings in Florida State and Federal Courts. Manage calendars, including trial and discovery deadlines. Assist with trial preparation, scheduling, and case organization. Monitor case files and escalate issues requiring attorney attention. Handle incoming calls and provide general administrative support. Qualifications 2+ years of legal assistant experience supporting litigators, preferably in civil defense. Insurance defense and general liability experience strongly preferred. Experience with Florida State and Federal Court E-Filing. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Dictation experience preferred. Excellent drafting, communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage a high-volume workload.

Pay Details:
