Attorneys Jo Ann Hoffman & Associates, P.A. represents injured clients in Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation and Defense Base Act claims. Our firm is seeking an experienced legal assistant to join us in our Fort Lauderdale office assisting with domestic and international clients with their Workers' Compensation cases. Learn more about us at www.joannhoffman.com Requirements Minimum 3 years discovery/calendaring/coordinating conferences, depositions, translation services thoughtout the case. Preferred but not required- experience in workers compensation or federal law Able to handle a high-volume caseload. Strong administrative and computer skills (we use Aderant Total Office), including use of e-filing. Strong ability to organize and correspond with clients Ability to multitask and follow deadlines Eligible to work in the United States. Duties Documenting billable hours for casework. Strong technical skills completing forms online, scanning documents and other electronic communications Discovery document preparation Coordinate and calendar events We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
