Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support a busy law firm on a Contract assignment in Florida. This contract opportunity is expected to last about one month, with the possibility of extension, and is well suited for someone who brings litigation experience along with exposure to estate planning matters. The person in this role will help keep legal files organized, prepare court-related materials, and provide day-to-day support across active matters.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, revise, and format legal documents for litigation and estate-related matters with a high level of accuracy.
  • Manage electronic court submissions and ensure filings are completed in accordance with applicable deadlines and procedural rules.
  • Maintain calendars for hearings, deadlines, and case activity to help attorneys stay on track across multiple matters.
  • Use case management systems to organize records, track updates, and keep matter documentation current.
  • Transcribe dictated notes, correspondence, and legal content into clear written documents.
  • Assist with probate and estate administration tasks as needed, including document preparation and file support.
  • Coordinate case materials, correspondence, and supporting documentation for attorney review and client matters.
  • Provide additional paralegal and administrative support as priorities shift within the firm.
