Job Description

Lowndes is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with 3+ years of law firm experience to join our busy and growing Space Coast offices. This position is based in our Melbourne, FL office, with the expectation of traveling to our Vero Beach office once per week. This role supports attorneys through all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including due diligence, document preparation, and closing coordination, while working independently within established practices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Draft and revise commercial purchase and sale agreements, amendments, assignments, and closing documentsReview and analyze title commitments, exception documents, and surveys; prepare title objection letters and manage curative mattersPrepare closing and settlement statements, escrow disbursement schedules, closing checklists, and lender execution packagesCoordinate all aspects of commercial closings with lenders, title companies, surveyors, and clientsAssist with drafting and organizing easements, declarations, cost-sharing agreements, access agreements, and development-related documentsOversee post-closing tasks, including recording, title policy follow-up, and preparation of closing bindersMaintain transaction timelines and proactively manage multiple active commercial real estate matters
