Our firm handles business litigation, real estate disputes, construction law, insurance law, employer rights, and creditor rights. What We're Looking For We're seeking a positive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum 3 years of litigation experience in a law firm. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat. A minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong multitasking and time management abilities. A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to work independently. Dependability, punctuality, and a professional demeanor. Commitment to teamwork, firm procedures, and client service excellence. Key Responsibilities Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence in preparation for trial, mediation, or arbitration. Maintain and organize case files from intake to closing under attorney direction. Manage court filings and stay current with filing procedures and deadlines. Coordinate and calendar depositions, mediation, and hearings with clarity and precision. Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third parties. Conduct client intakes (approximately 1-2 times per week). Prepare case summaries and assist attorneys with trial preparation. Support the team with general office and case management tasks. Uphold client confidentiality and firm standards at all times. Qualifications & Skills Litigation paralegal experience (minimum 3 years required). Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Creative thinker who can adapt and "think outside the box." Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency. Polished, professional appearance and client-friendly demeanor.
