A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
- Prepare deposition, trial, and records subpoenas in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Coordinate third-party records production, review records, and prepare summaries for attorney use.
- Analyze, organize, and manage documents and data produced by clients and through discovery.
- Assist with drafting pleadings, motions, submissions, discovery requests, and discovery responses for state, federal, arbitration, and mediation matters.
- Prepare litigation notebooks, binders, exhibits, and other case materials as needed.
- Maintain litigation calendars, track deadlines, and keep attorneys and staff informed of conferences, filings, and case milestones. Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $75,000 to $95,000 per year.

Location:
Orlando, FL. Required Qualifications and Skills- Support attorneys with litigation case preparation, discovery, subpoenas, document production, and court filings.
- Manage litigation calendars, deadlines, case materials, notebooks, binders, and records summaries.
- Conduct legal and background research using litigation and public records tools.
- Assist with pleadings, motions, submissions, and discovery in state and federal court matters.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
- Strong knowledge of Federal and Florida Courts.
- Experience with document management systems.
- Experience with eDiscovery and document review platforms.
- Proficiency in a Windows environment.
- Experience using Lexis, PACER, Accurint, Secretary of State resources, and social media for research.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven litigation environment.
- Reliable, professional, team-oriented, and able to work extra hours as needed. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting trial preparation, arbitration, mediation, and complex litigation matters.
- Strong ability to summarize records, organize large document productions, and support attorneys through all phases of litigation.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced legal services or law firm environment.
