We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our growing team in Pensacola, Florida. Our firm specializes in real estate law, community association law, business law, and estate planning/probate, and we are committed to providing exceptional legal services that make a meaningful impact on our clients and community. This role works closely with attorneys to support all phases of litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, notices, correspondence, and legal memoranda.
- File documents electronically in state and federal courts and ensure compliance with applicable court rules and deadlines.
- Manage litigation calendars, including hearings, depositions, mediation, discovery deadlines, and trial dates.
- Draft and organize discovery requests, responses, and document productions.
- Coordinate and maintain case files, exhibits, evidence, and litigation materials.
- Assist with trial preparation, including preparation of trial notebooks, witness files, exhibits, and hearing materials.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third-party vendors.
- Conduct legal and factual research as directed by attorneys.
- Support attorneys throughout all stages of litigation.
- Perform additional administrative and legal support tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous litigation paralegal experience required.
- Experience with civil litigation in Florida courts preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Florida and federal court procedures, rules, and e-filing systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, case management software, and electronic filing platforms.
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform well under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate attorney and client needs.
- A team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude.
