POSITION SUMMARY
Legal Assistants at RAS LaVrar work closely with Production Specialists and Operations Analysts to identify, investigate, and remediate cases which fall out of the firm's production pipeline. Individuals working in this position are responsible for addressing lists of cases which require more attention to detail than that expected of the firm's Production Specialists. Legal Assistants are not expected to draft pleadings.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The following responsibilities are central to the role: Review & remediate exceptions Examine cases which have fallen out of the firm's production pipeline. Think critically to determine whether identified cases are subject to unique circumstances; Diagnose exceptions and report back to firm managers and clients. Formulate and execute solutions to ensure exceptions return to or continue moving through the firm's production pipeline. Inventory management Review inventory status reporting to identify stagnant accounts. Diagnose systemic areas of improvement to ensure accounts flow through the production pipeline timely.

Possess foundational computer knowledge and skills including familiarity with programs within the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
Educational/ Experience Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred Individuals who excel in this role typically have academic backgrounds in operations management, criminal justice, pre-law, and/or data analysis. Experience in a legal office may compensate for education Individuals who excel in this role typically have industry experience in the fields of collections and/or personal injury law.
