Role Description We are looking for a unicorn-someone who can wear many hats and handle a wide variety of support functions and is proactive and outgoing. Do you love helping people? The newest addition to our team will: love helping people hate typos and have laser sharp attention to detail manage cases and clients from start to finish manage calendars and deadlines have excellent technology skills and be able to organize and maintain digital legal files and documents be client-facing and able to communicate with clients via phone, email and in-person in a professional and empathetic manner be able to stay on top of and manage email boxes draft correspondence gather information from clients (and potential clients) enter information into firm CRM software / database e-file documents in the court system e-record documents in the public records system communicate with government agencies draft and edit legal documents notarize and/or witness the signing of legal documents schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings assist with document review, analysis and assembly have the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines have a creative and entrepreneurial spirit and help plan and schedule marketing events to promote the firm hold down the fort when lead attorney travels live in or near Plantation, FL and be able to work in-office (not remote or hybrid) Qualifications Previous experience working in a law office is mandatory Familiarity with the practice areas of elder law, estate planning, probate and guardianship Proficiency with Onedrive, Adobe Pro and Microsoft 365 Extremely organized and detail-oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, multi-task and meet deadlines Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Kind, empathetic and friendly demeanor with clients Experience with e-filing, e-recording, scheduling and using a CRM We offer a calm, zen and great office work environment, manageable schedule and competitive pay.
