In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive legal support related to construction contracts and government bid contracts and documents. Duties Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, including subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and change orders to ensure clarity and legal soundness. Review and prepare extensive municipal and government bid documents for the estimating department. Provide legal support for general & commercial litigation related to construction disputes, including document review and preparation. Support legal administrative functions such as data entry, filing, proofreading, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Prepare clear and concise legal writing, reports, and summaries to facilitate decision-making processes for project teams and management. Qualifications & Requirements Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent research skills combined with the ability to interpret procedural laws accurately. Effective communication skills. Knowledge of legal administrative processes including filing procedures, data entry accuracy, proofreading standards, document management practices, and handling confidential information responsibly.
