Job Description

Overview The Law Firm of Cheryl A. Ward, PL is a growing law firm focused on probate, trust administration, guardianship, estate planning, and related litigation. We are committed to providing exceptional client service while fostering a collaborative, supportive work environment where every team member plays an important role. We're looking for an experienced Probate Paralegal who is organized, proactive, and able to manage files with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality work, communicates professionally with clients, and enjoys being part of a team that values accountability, efficiency, and continuous growth. Responsibilities Assist attorney with all phases of probate and trust administration. Draft pleadings, petitions, inventories, accountings, notices, correspondence, and other legal documents with precision and clarity. Prepare and electronically file court documents using the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal. Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, courts, financial institutions, and other professionals to facilitate smooth case progression. Monitor deadlines and proactively move files forward from opening through closing. Review all work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Florida law. Maintain organized electronic files in Clio Manage and Microsoft SharePoint. Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Requirements Minimum of 4-6 years of Florida probate experience required. Experience with trust administration, guardianship, and estate planning preferred. Experience with Clio Manage, Florida Courts E-Filing Portal, and Westlaw Form Builder preferred. Strong drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional, dependable, and client-focused. Pay:
$22.00 - $42.00 per hour
