What they do
A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
- Greet clients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls and take accurate, detailed messages.
- Assist with estate-planning document-signing appointments.
- Prepare signing materials and conference rooms.
- Serve as a witness when appropriate.
- Notarize documents.
- Scan, copy, organize, and process completed documents.
- Provide other light administrative and office support as needed. What We Are Looking For

- Excellent phone and in-person client service skills.
- Comfort using computers and learning new software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Comfort working with older adults, families, and clients who may be dealing with stressful or emotional circumstances.
- Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
- Approximately 12 hours per week.
- $20-$23 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
