Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Family Law practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various areas of law with a focus on Family law, in addition to strong legal research and drafting skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in supporting our attorneys and providing exceptional service to our clients during sensitive legal matters.
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information. Assist attorneys in preparing, reviewing, and filing legal documents and pleadings. Organize, maintain, and manage case files and legal documentation. Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel. Schedule hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings. Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, evidence, and case materials. Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely completion of assignments. Perform document review and ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and court procedures. Stay informed on updates and changes in family law regulations and procedures. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Prior experience in family law strongly preferred. Strong legal research, writing, and document preparation skills. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. Professional communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent phone etiquette. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software is a plus. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
