The Opportunity:
As a Legal Assistant , you'll work closely with our Case Managers and play an important role in keeping personal injury cases organized and moving forward. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, stays calm under pressure, communicates well, and takes pride in getting the details right. You won't be sitting on the sidelines — you'll be an important part of the team and directly contribute to the client experience and success of our cases.
What You'll Do:
Request, track, and organize medical records and other important case documents. Verify insurance coverage, policies, and related information. Prepare, send, receive, and organize legal correspondence and documents. Review medical and insurance documentation for accuracy and completeness. Follow up with insurance companies, medical providers, and other third parties. Assist Case Managers with day-to-day case management and administrative tasks. Keep case information accurate, organized, and up to date. Provide professional, compassionate service to our clients throughout the process. What Makes Someone Successful in This Role? Personal injury or law firm experience is a plus, but we're also interested in candidates with strong administrative, customer service, medical, insurance, or case-management experience.
