A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
- Manage document collection, organization, privilege review, and production for subpoenas, discovery requests, E-Discovery matters, and other legal proceedings.
- Administer legal holds, E-Discovery workflows, E-billing systems, document management processes, legal records, and departmental filing procedures.
- Prepare and maintain legal documents related to construction matters, including Claims of Lien, Satisfactions of Lien, releases, Notices to Owner, and Notices of Commencement.
- Support contract documentation by preparing execution packages, comparing documents, managing exhibits, and uploading documents to DocuSign as needed.
- Conduct legal research, retrieve and review public records, track professional license renewals, monitor transfer bonds, and prepare legal reports, agendas, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with HR, IT, operations, outside counsel, vendors, and internal legal team members on litigation, employment, compliance, and administrative legal matters. Compensation and Benefits
Compensation:
$43.00 to $52.00 per hour.- Annual compensation noted at approximately $90,000 to $100,000, based on experience.
- Employment type: Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire, based on experience.
