  • $26 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Flexible schedule Qualifications Spanish Intake Criminal defense law Personal injury law Calendar management Law office experience Office management Legal case management Full Job Description Solo personal injury/criminal defense law firm is seeking a full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days a week) case manager/paralegal.
Office hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Must have at least 1+ year(s) of experience working in personal injury law, either as a case manager and/or paralegal. This position will largely focus on handling personal injury cases, with occasional assistance on criminal cases. This position will be in-office in Duluth with no remote options at this time.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Bilingual preferred (Korean or Spanish preferred)
  • 1+ years personal injury law firm experience (required)
  • Must have working knowledge of how personal injury case is handled, from intake/pre-litigation through litigation
  • Experience working with case management software (CasePeer) a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Communicate with insurance companies, clients, attorneys, hospitals, and others;
  • Assist with preparing settlement demands, discovery responses, medical chronologies, and trial binders;
  • Assist with intake for new clients, as needed;
  • Assist with preparing/filing legal documents, correspondence, and calendaring deadlines/meetings/depositions;
  • Assist with office management and update electronic case files
Pay:
$20.00

00 per hour
