Job Summary We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our legal team in the field of personal injury litigation. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal research, document management, and client communication skills, with experience in personal injury law. This position provides an engaging opportunity for a dedicated professional seeking growth within a reputable legal firm committed to excellence in client service and legal support. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Responsibilities Prepare and draft legal documents including pleadings, contracts, briefs, and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail. Manage case files and documents through various document management systems ensuring confidentiality and organization. Assist attorneys with preparation of personal injury cases. Interview clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for ongoing cases. Maintain client communication by providing updates and responding to inquiries professionally. Handle administrative duties including data entry, filing, proofreading, transcription, and document review. Ensure adherence to procedural law standards and maintain meticulous records of case progress. Qualifications Prefer degree or paralegal certificate or 3+ years of paralegal experience. A strong background in legal support functions for personal injury litigation Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft clear legal documents and communicate effectively with clients and team members. Knowledge of legal procedures and case management systems; experience with document review and legal drafting is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems (familiarity with Filevine is a plus), data entry tools, and court filing procedures. Attention to detail in proofreading and handling confidential information with discretion. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
