Manage case files using document management systems; ensure all files are organized, up-to-date, and compliant with firm standards. Conduct thorough document review for civil and criminal litigation support, and other legal proceedings to identify relevant information efficiently. Support project management tasks by tracking deadlines, court dates, and client appointments to ensure timely submissions and follow-ups. Handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining strict adherence to privacy protocols. Communicate effectively with clients via phone or email to gather information, schedule appointments, and provide updates on case progress. Support administrative functions including data entry, filing, proofreading documents for accuracy, and managing incoming correspondence. Assist attorneys during court hearings and client staffings by organizing case materials and taking detailed notes as needed. Experience Proven paralegal or legal assistant experience. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Word processing tools and data entry systems for accurate document preparation and record keeping. Effective client communication skills combined with professional phone etiquette for engaging with clients and external partners confidently. Experience handling confidential information responsibly while supporting attorneys. Strong writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence that meet procedural standards.
