Job Description

Real Estate Paralegal (Closing-Focused) - South Georgia Law Practice We are looking for an experienced real estate paralegal who can handle files from contract through closing with minimal supervision. This is a small, established practice with a steady flow of residential transactions (and occasional light commercial work). You will be the primary point of contact on files and will work directly with the attorney to keep files moving efficiently and correctly. What You'll Do Manage real estate files from opening through closing and post-closing Prepare and review purchase agreements, deeds, settlement statements, and loan documents Coordinate with lenders, agents, buyers, and sellers Prepare closing packages and ensure everything is ready to fund and record Keep files organized and on track (deadlines matter here) What We're Looking For 3+ years of real estate paralegal or closing experience Ability to run files independently without constant oversight Comfortable communicating directly with lenders, agents, and clients Strong attention to detail - mistakes at closing are not an option Familiarity with standard closing software (or ability to learn quickly) What This Job Is (and Is Not) This is a steady, relationship-driven practice This is not a high-volume closing mill You will have direct access to the attorney, not layers of management We value common sense, reliability, and ownership of your files If you've handled closings start-to-finish and want a stable role where you can run your own files, we should talk.
