Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join the firm. In this position you will answer the phones, maintain the calendar, assist in filing and drafting, and generally keep the office in good order. Duties Interface with clients, clerks, attorneys, and potential clients, including walk-ins and call-ins. Manage the calendar and the filing system. Draft, proofread, and review legal documents. Coordinate deadlines, schedule appointments, and prepare case files for court proceedings or client meetings. Requirements Experience as a legal assistant, secretary or receptionist is highly valued but not required. Must be highly organized, responsible, and trustworthy. Must be a Georgia notary, or be willing to become one. Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining professionalism in phone etiquette and clerical duties.
