is seeking an experienced Family-Based Immigration Paralegal to join our growing immigration practice. This position is specifically for a paralegal with prior hands-on experience handling family-based immigration cases . We are looking for someone who understands the immigration process, can manage cases from intake through filing and follow-up, and is comfortable communicating directly with clients and attorneys. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced immigration practice. Fluency in Spanish is required. Primary Responsibilities Manage family-based immigration cases under attorney supervision. Prepare and organize immigration forms, supporting documentation, and filing packages. Prepare and assist with I-130 family petitions . Prepare I-485 adjustment of status applications and related filings. Assist with consular processing and National Visa Center (NVC) cases . Prepare I-765 and I-131 applications when applicable. Assist with I-864 Affidavits of Support and supporting financial documentation. Assist attorneys with waiver cases and other family-based immigration matters. Prepare responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and other USCIS correspondence under attorney supervision. Review client documents for completeness and identify missing information or documentation. Conduct client follow-up and document collection. Communicate with clients regarding case status, required documentation, appointments, and next steps. Monitor USCIS and NVC notices, appointments, deadlines, and case updates. Maintain complete, accurate, and timely case notes . Keep electronic case files organized and current. Coordinate closely with supervising attorneys and other members of the legal team. Follow MIGRA 411's procedures, workflows, deadlines, and quality-control requirements. Required Qualifications Previous experience as an immigration paralegal is required. Demonstrated experience handling family-based immigration cases . Knowledge of USCIS forms and family-based immigration procedures. Experience preparing immigration filing packages. Experience communicating directly with immigration clients. Fluent Spanish, both written and spoken. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously. Ability to follow established procedures and attorney instructions. Comfortable working with case-management systems and electronic files. Reliable, professional, and proactive.
