Position Summary:
Castle & Cooke Hawaii is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Legal Assistant to join our Land/Legal/Government & Community Relations Department. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient day-to-day legal operations by scheduling, managing files, preparing legal documents, coordinating transactions, assisting with corporate compliance, and providing litigation support. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, respects the importance of confidentiality, and values accuracy, discretion, and teamwork. Qualifications (required): At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a legal environment in Hawaii (in-house or law firm preferred) A valid Hawaii driver's license A high school diploma or equivalent A proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills A Hawaii Notary Public commission or are willing to obtain one within six months of employment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Qualifications (desirable): An associate or bachelor's degree in a legal or related field, or a certificate in legal assisting or paralegal studies Experience with real estate and corporate law terminology and processes Knowledge of Hawaii real estate principles and practices All applications and inquiries will be kept in strict confidence.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
