Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

$60,000 - $70,000 annually (depending on experience) We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant to support attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain professionalism and confidentiality. Responsibilities Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, meetings, and appointments. Prepare, proofread, format, and file legal documents and correspondence. Electronically file documents with state and federal courts. Maintain physical and electronic client files. Coordinate document production, scanning, copying, and filing. Assist with trial, hearing, mediation, and arbitration preparation. Review billing entries and assist with client invoicing. Communicate with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and vendors. Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed. Maintain confidentiality of client and firm information. #RemedyHIDirectHire Qualifications Minimum one year of legal assistant, legal secretary, paralegal, or related experience. Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and litigation processes. Strong organizational, proofreading, and communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications. Experience with electronic filing and legal software preferred.
