The primary responsibility of this legal assistant position is to support lawyers in the areas of estate planning, business, and real estate law; and will routinely assist with trust administration and probate matters. A person in this position must be able to demonstrate professional integrity, attention to detail, and good judgment. A professional image, excellent communication and strong organizational skills are required. In addition, this position requires being responsible, dependable, and highly motivated; possessing a great work attitude; and being a team player.
Qualifications:
1. Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with the lawyer(s) and co-workers as a team. 2. Three years of secretarial experience in a document intensive, detail-oriented environment preferred. 3. Associate or Bachelor degree preferred. 4. Ability to type accurately and efficiently from draft or dictation. 5. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. 6. Ability to analyze and resolve routine administrative conflicts. 7. Ability to organize both electronic and hardcopy data and documents. 8. Ability to pay close attention to detail, work with deadlines and changing priorities, and to anticipate requirements in the practice areas described. 9. Proven ability to be flexible, customer service oriented, and independent while, clearly communicating with the team. 10.
