Job Description
Overview:
Rammelkamp Bradney seeks a full-time Legal Assistant for its Jacksonville office. Rammelkamp Bradney has been providing legal services for Central Illinois region for over 130 years. This position will work directly with at least one attorney in the office.Responsibilities:
- Scheduling
- Client Relations
- Communicating with Other Attorneys and Staff
- Clerical
- E-Filing Court Documents
- Proofreading Legal Documents
- Drafting Simple Legal Documents
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Associates Degree preferred
- Prior law office experience preferred
- Secretarial experience strongly preferred
- Ability to accurately type 60 wpm and transcribe from handwritten material
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and comfortable with technology
- Ability to communicate effectively in a pleasant and professional manner
- Excellent verbal, analytical, writing, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated, with desire to work in a fast-paced environment
