A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description

This position will handle a variety of responsibilities within our bankruptcy team including answering phones, speaking with potential and current clients, gathering intake information and data entry. Responsible for maintaining calendars, scheduling, uploading documents, mailings, filing, and other various duties. Must have excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment, as well as handle and prioritize multiple duties or projects in order to meet deadlines is a necessity. Able to work as a team player or independently while consistently delivering a high quality of work is also required, as well as being flexible, reliable, organized and self-motivated.
  • Must have a Paralegal Degree or relevant work experience
  • Mon-Thurs 8:30am-5:00pm. Fri 8:30am-4:00pm at our O'Fallon IL Location.
  • Benefits Available to Full-Time Employees After 90 Days.
