Personal Injury / Workers' Compensation Paralegal We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join a busy litigation practice handling Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation matters. We are open to candidates with experience in Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, or a combination of both. Candidates do not need experience in both practice areas to be considered. Responsibilities Depending on experience, responsibilities may include: Assist attorneys with Personal Injury and/or Workers' Compensation matters Manage case files from intake through resolution Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and documentation Obtain and organize medical records, bills, employment records, and other case materials Prepare correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents Assist with written discovery and document production Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and attorney schedules Coordinate depositions, hearings, independent medical examinations, and other case-related matters Communicate with medical providers, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties Assist with settlement preparation and resolution Provide litigation and trial preparation support as needed Qualifications Prior paralegal or substantive legal support experience Experience with Personal Injury and/or Workers' Compensation matters Strong organizational and case-management skills Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented and able to work independently Familiarity with litigation procedures and legal documentation Experience on either the plaintiff or defense side will be considered.
