It is not required for candidates to have experience working at a law firm. They need to be dependable, able to multi-task, be detail oriented, and proficient in time management. This position can be full or part-time.
Responsibilities:
Answer calls and emails Schedule appointments, meetings and deadlines Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents Maintain and organize physical and electronic client files. File legal documents with the courts Assist with other administrative tasks. ​
Qualifications:
Previous administrative or law firm experience preferred Excellent customer service and phone etiquette Deadline and detail-oriented Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and ethically at all times.
Typical Physical Demands:
Manual dexterity and range of hearing/vision enough to operate standard office machines. Able to lift and carry a typical banker's box of files (25 lbs.).
Typical Mental Demands:
Able to maintain and foster a positive attitude under stress associated with a fast-paced work environment. Able to effectively manage multiple priorities/tasks. Make judgment decisions and adapt to changing work situations. Grasp and apply new ideas and technology tools. Communicate with various personalities at all levels.
Working Conditions:
Works in a typical office setting.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
