Position:

Personal Injury Case Manager Gerling Law has provided aggressive, high-quality legal services for over 50 years, and we believe our culture of high performance built upon excellence, teamwork and respect sets us apart. We are currently looking to expand our team by adding experienced Personal Injury Case Managers in our Evansville and Owensboro offices. We are seeking individuals with the skills, enthusiasm and imagination to continue our record of high-quality service.

Position responsibilities:

• Will be the primary contact for clients seeking assistance with personal injury claims
• Will be responsible for case management of large volume of clients; will monitor and assure case progress and success
• Will have substantial interaction with clients, insurance companies and doctor's offices
• Will foster a relationship of trust and understanding, while serving as the point person for personal injury claims
• Will aid in the growth of practice, and help design and implement intake and case management systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with personal injury claims processing and case management
• Experience with collection and review medical records
• Knowledge of medical conditions and terminology

Required Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe
• Ability to work under a heavy caseload and be self sufficient
• Administrative skills (copying, scanning, drafting legal memoranda and letters)
• Ability to keep deadlines, organize information, and create systems for managing work
• Self-starter who takes initiative to solve problems
