We are seeking a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant focusing on family law matters, estate planning, real estate, and civil matters. Ideal candidates should exhibit a strong work ethic with a keen focus on detail and be a flexible team player. Many of our clients are experiencing challenging legal situations. This position will be the "front line" in communicating with our clients, so exceptional communication, interpersonal and client service skills will be essential.
Job duties and expectations include:
Client management Managing deadlines Preparing initial drafts of pleadings, discovery and documents Assisting with filing and organization Drafting correspondence Providing clerical support to attorneys including typing dictation Communicating with Clients Professional attire
Job Type:
Full-time Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience. Qualifications Proven legal administrative experience in a law office setting Proficient in legal research using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw Strong writing and communication skills for effective client services Familiarity with document management systems and litigation processes Ability to manage legal case files and conduct thorough document reviews Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
