Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Standard Business Hours Pay Rate:
$30-$35 per hour Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and format legal documents, including motions, briefs, affidavits, affirmations, litigation backs, and court filings.Independently gather exhibits, supporting documentation, and prepare exhibit lists.
Perform electronic court filings in New York State and Federal Courts, including: New York Supreme CourtsSurrogate's CourtsFederal Courts (PACER)New York Court of AppealsMonitor attorney eTracks notifications and manage critical court deadlines.
Maintain attorney calendars and scheduling through Microsoft Outlook.
Update and maintain attorney contacts and client information.
Coordinate depositions, service of process, appellate printing, and other litigation support activities with outside vendors.
Bates-stamp and organize documents for productions and discovery requests.
Transcribe attorney dictation using Philips SpeechExec and digital audio recordings.
Answer and direct incoming calls professionally.
Schedule and coordinate client meetings, conference calls, and Zoom meetings.
