Description Family Law Legal Assistant - Wichita, KS A well-established, mid-sized law firm in Wichita, KS is seeking a Family Law Legal Assistant to join its growing practice. This role offers hands-on responsibility, strong mentorship, and long-term growth potential within a collaborative team environment. Position Overview This role supports a busy family law practice and plays a key part in day-to-day case management. Responsibilities include drafting legal correspondence, pleadings, and discovery; managing attorney calendars and deadlines; organizing and maintaining case files; and providing administrative and litigation support. The position also assists in supporting and guiding newer attorneys as they develop their practices. Requirements Preferred Qualifications + 2-3+ years of family law or related experience strongly preferred (10+ years highly valued) + Family law experience preferred + Candidates with significant experience are highly valued + Paralegal certification preferred, not required + Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment + Familiarity with Tabs3 billing/case management software a plus + Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook + Solid understanding of legal terminology, court filings, and case workflows Education + High school diploma or GED required + Equivalent combinations of education, certifications (ALS, PLS, CPS, paralegal certificate), and experience will be considered Compensation & Benefits + $22-$27/hour, depending on experience + Eligible for the firm's Bonus Program +
