Experienced Paralegal (Workers' Compensation, Personal Injury, or Social Security)

Hybrid (In-Office & Remote) A busy solo-practice law firm in Northern Kentucky is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our growing team. We are looking for a highly organized, self-motivated professional who takes pride in producing quality work, learns quickly, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment. This position is ideal for someone who is self-sufficient, dependable, and able to manage cases with minimal supervision while working closely with the attorney. Preferred Experience Candidates should have 2-3+ years of experience in one or more of the following practice areas: Workers' Compensation (Defense or Plaintiff) Personal Injury Social Security Disability Experience in multiple practice areas is a plus. Responsibilities Manage cases from intake through resolution Review, organize, and summarize medical records Communicate professionally with clients, physicians, insurance adjusters, courts, and opposing counsel Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents Maintain case calendars and monitor deadlines Request and track medical records and other evidence Maintain organized electronic case files Provide comprehensive case management support to the attorney Qualifications Minimum of 1-3 years of paralegal experience Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong work ethic with pride in producing accurate, high-quality work Fast learner who adapts quickly to new systems and procedures Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong attention to detail Professional communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records is strongly preferred Technology Skills Experience with the following is preferred: Clio Legal Management Systems (LMS) or similar case management software Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Office Suite Training can be provided for the right candidate who has strong legal experience and is eager to learn.
