A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

BachelorsResponsibilities Litigation Case Management:
Assist in managing large cases and projects. Handle extensive document organization, retrieval, and production. Digest deposition transcripts and prepare polished deposition and trial exhibits.Legal Drafting & Filings:
Draft pleadings, contracts, correspondence, and trial binders. Manage the proper indexing and electronic filing of legal documents utilizing advanced litigation support software.Practice Management & Admin:
Keep attorneys organized by managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and preparing expense reports.Financial Administration:
Oversee the monthly billing cycle and handle client accounting-related tasks for the practice group.Client & Court Liaison:
Serve as a professional first point of contact, managing phone and email correspondence with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel.
