Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive legal support across multiple practice areas, ensuring smooth case management, thorough research, and precise document preparation. Your expertise will help facilitate efficient legal processes, support attorneys in complex litigation and transactional matters, and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism. Responsibilities Conduct detailed legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development and legal analysis. Assist attorneys with drafting, reviewing, and editing legal documents including pleadings, contracts, discovery requests, and correspondence. Manage case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw, ensuring all records are accurate, organized, and easily accessible. Support litigation processes by preparing exhibits, summarizing depositions, and coordinating discovery efforts in civil and commercial litigation. Conduct client interviews to gather pertinent case information while maintaining strict confidentiality standards. Review and analyze legal documents for procedural compliance and substantive accuracy in areas such as estate planning, family law, environmental law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, and immigration law. Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, scheduling meetings or court dates, and managing correspondence efficiently. Collaborate with attorneys on project management tasks to ensure deadlines are met and case strategies are executed effectively. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procedural laws across different jurisdictions to assist with case filings and court procedures. Skills Extensive paralegal experience with a strong background in multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, patent law, tribal law & regulations, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, general & commercial litigation. Proficiency in legal research tools including LexisNexis and Westlaw; familiarity with legal support software like iManage and PCLaw is highly desirable. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong written communication skills for drafting legal documents clearly and accurately. Excellent client communication skills with professional phone etiquette for interviews and correspondence. Knowledge of procedural laws across various jurisdictions to facilitate filings and court procedures effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for document creation and data management; experience with document review systems is a plus. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while adhering to privacy standards. Effective project management skills to coordinate tasks within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with legal case management systems such as iManage or similar platforms for efficient document organization.
