Must have outstanding organizational and time management skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, professionalism and dependability.
General Job Duties:
Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings Prepare and draft legal documents, such as contracts, briefs and pleadings Transcribe dictations and prepare correspondence Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette Perform data entry and file management tasks to maintain accurate and organized legal documents Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness Utilize document management systems to store, retrieve, and track legal documents Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems
Qualifications:
Candidates must have at least 3 years working knowledge in the legal field Ability to effectively manage, organize, and categorize case related documentation Must be computer proficient (preferably Windows 10, MS Word, Outlook, Adobe, Excel and Sage Timeslips) Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and has a passion for working in the legal field.
