Part-Time About Us :
We are a small, client-focused boutique law firm seeking a dependable, organized, and personable Legal Secretary/Receptionist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of administrative and legal support responsibilities and takes pride in providing excellent client service.

You'll work directly with the attorney in a collaborative environment where your contributions make a meaningful impact on the day-to-day operation of the practice.
Responsibilities:
Greet clients and provide professional, friendly customer service. Answer incoming calls, take accurate messages, and schedule consultations. Open, organize, scan, and electronically file incoming mail.

Prepare outgoing mail, including mailing judgments and other court documents to clients. Monitor online court systems for updates on filings, judgments, and court orders. Maintain a list of matters requiring follow-up with the courtsTrack filing fees and maintain accurate records. Assist with preparing correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and other parties. Monitor the status of service for upcoming hearings Assist with preparing trial and hearing binders and other litigation support projects. Perform general administrative duties to keep the office running smoothly.
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Professional communication and customer service skills. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning legal software and online court portals. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy. Previous legal office or administrative experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong administrative skills.
