Job Description

Make a real impact on student well-being as a School Psychologist supporting elementary, middle, and high school learners in a dynamic school setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to engage with a diverse student population and collaborate with dedicated educators and families to promote academic, social, and emotional success.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited program Active Louisiana school psychologist license Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels preferred Strong assessment, evaluation, and counseling skills Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Primary Duties:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments Provide individual and group counseling to students with varied needs Support staff and families by sharing insights on student progress and intervention strategies Interpret assessment results and offer recommendations to support educational planning Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to foster inclusive, supportive learning environments Participate in and contribute to IEP and student services meetings Assist in the design and implementation of programs that promote positive student engagement and school climate This rewarding role is ideal for a compassionate professional who values making a difference in the lives of young people.
