This is a full-time, in-office position . The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a legal environment, preferably with experience in personal injury and civil litigation . This position will provide direct support to attorneys in all aspects of case management, including client communication, preparation of legal documents and correspondence, maintenance of case files, scheduling, and litigation support. The successful candidate must be dependable, professional, comfortable communicating with clients, and capable of managing multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment. Experience with personal injury matters, civil litigation, collections, and guardianships is preferred. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with personal injury and civil litigation matters from initial intake through settlement or litigation. Prepare, draft, review, proofread, and edit legal correspondence, pleadings, discovery documents, and other legal documents. Maintain organized and accurate electronic and physical case files. Communicate professionally with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties. Obtain and organize medical records, medical bills, insurance information, and other case-related documentation. Assist with preparation of settlement demands and settlement documentation. Track important case deadlines, court dates, statutes of limitations, and other time-sensitive matters. Assist attorneys with discovery, document production, and other litigation-related tasks. File pleadings and other documents with courts, including electronic filing when required. Schedule client meetings, depositions, hearings, medical appointments, and other case-related events. Provide clients with appropriate case updates and obtain necessary information and documentation. Assist with collection and guardianship matters as needed. Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and other documents using Microsoft Office. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client and firm information. Perform general administrative and office responsibilities necessary to keep cases progressing efficiently. Qualifications Prior experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or in a comparable legal support position preferred. Personal injury and/or civil litigation experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of litigation procedures, court filings, and legal terminology. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer applications . Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong proofreading and word-processing skills. Professional and courteous telephone and client communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize assignments, manage deadlines, and handle multiple cases simultaneously. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a legal team. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Dependable, proactive, and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
