About the
Role:
We are a small but fast-paced litigation law firm looking for a sharp, highly organized Legal Assistant to support 2-4 attorneys within a national and international litigation practice. This role requires someone with strong calendar management, acute attention to detail, and the ability to keep multiple active state and federal cases moving seamlessly.

you should be tech-forward, comfortable learning new software, and open to using AI tools responsibly—understanding both their capabilities and their limitations as a productivity booster, not a crutch.
Key Responsibilities:
Case & Document Management:
Set up, organize, and manage state and federal litigation files. Draft routine court documents and correspondence.
Calendar & Court Rules Tracking:
Maintain an airtight calendar for hearings, depositions, filings, and court deadlines across multiple jurisdictions.
Attorney Support:
Keep 2-4 litigators organized, prepared, and on schedule for court appearances, depositions, and trials.
Local Runs & Errands:
Handle periodic out-of-office tasks, including bank runs, post office trips, and transporting documents to/from the managing attorney's home office as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications Tech Savvy:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (formatting, styles, redlining, TOC/TOA) working in an Apple/Mac environment.
Smart & Adaptable:
Comfortable engaging with modern legal tech and AI tools safely, critically, and effectively.
Reliable Transportation:
Valid driver's license and dependable vehicle for local errands and document delivery.
Extreme Detail Orientation:
High level of precision, confidentiality, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
