Job Description

Seeking Experienced Paralegal Overview Small Berkshire County law office seeks experienced paralegal, some real estate experience preferred. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are essential. Qualified candidates only please. Seeking candidate who can support attorneys by handling everything from managing phone calls and case files to preparing for a real estate closing. This position offers opportunity for growth and development of your legal support experience in a small, friendly law office committed to excellence and integrity. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with daily tasks, primarily focusing on real estate and estate planning. Duties may extend into estate administration and business matters. Manage case files using document management systems such as PCLaw, ensuring all records are accurate, organized, and up-to-date. Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys and staff via phone, in person and written correspondence while maintaining confidentiality at all times. Provide administrative support including answering phones, scheduling meetings, managing calendars and client communications, and handling confidential information with professionalism. Qualifications Paralegal experience with a background in practice areas such as estate planning, real estate, estate and probate administration and/or business matters. Proficiency with word processing tools like Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel. Proficiency in legal research platforms including Westlaw a plus. Experience with legal case management software like PCLaw. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Strong written communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading skills are essential. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
Pay:
$19.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
