1099 Independent Contractor | In-Office About Rimmon Hill LLC Rimmon Hill LLC is the real estate division of a Chicago-based family office established in 2020. We specialize in tax lien investments and single-family rental properties across the Maryland and DMV region. Our mission is to become one of the largest owners of single-family rentals in the area. We operate with a lean, dynamic team of two attorneys and a small support staff focused on efficiency, quality, and professional growth. The Role We're seeking a detail-oriented Legal Office Assistant to support our two-attorney legal team in our Annapolis office. You'll handle scheduling, correspondence, document organization, data entry, and general administrative tasks that keep our office running smoothly. This is a true office support role: expect calendar management, email coordination, filing, and helping the team stay organized. You will work directly with attorneys managing tax lien servicing, foreclosure matters, and real estate legal issues. What You'll Do Manage attorney schedules and coordinate meetings with clients Handle correspondence and organize legal documents Process data entry and maintain office records Assist with general administrative tasks as needed Support the legal team with routine office matters Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills Contribute to a small, collaborative team environment What You Need High school diploma or equivalent Strong organizational and time-management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Reliability and attention to detail Willingness to learn in a legal environment Perfect for Students This position is specifically designed to be flexible and work around your schedule.
