Job Description

Council Baradel seeksa full-time real estate paralegal for its Annapolis, Maryland office. This position will work closely with Bay Title Company, Council Baradel's in-house settlement company handling commercial transactions. What will you do in this role? Draft commercial loan documents, deeds, corporate documents, and other real estate transaction documents Manage commercial lending transactions from inception through closing, ensuring accuracy and timely completion Coordinate with commercial lenders, borrowers, attorneys, title companies, and other parties throughout the closing process Review due diligence and closing documents, resolve outstanding issues, and prepare closing packages Order and review title work, lien searches, and other transaction-related due diligence What qualifications are required? Three to five years' experience in commercial transactions and residential settlements Working knowledge of title insurance Analytical skills and strong attention to detail Excellent writing and editing skills Ability to accurately process a variety of tasks and high volumes of work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Advanced knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and other web-based applications Willingness to perform administrative tasks as necessary Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $60,000 - $75,000, based on experience and skills Eligibility for overtime and annual bonus Comprehensive benefits package Application Process Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit a resume and cover letter.
