This is not a traditional litigation support role. You will report directly to a firm partner and work firm-wide to design, build, and roll out AI-powered workflows that make every practice group faster, more accurate, and more consistent. We recently adopted Filevine Enterprise and Claude Enterprise firm-wide. This role exists to turn that technology into real, adopted workflows — not just tools sitting unused. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with firm leadership on high-visibility process improvement initiatives, with broad exposure across every practice area rather than a single case team.
Responsibilities include:
Designing and building AI-assisted workflows for tasks like medical record review and summarization, discovery drafting, chronology generation, and case status reporting Partnering with attorneys and paralegals across practice groups to map existing processes and identify automation opportunities Configuring and maintaining Filevine Enterprise workflows, templates, and automations Building and refining prompts, templates, and document generation processes using Claude and other AI tools Testing new workflows for accuracy, reliability, and confidentiality before firm-wide rollout Training attorneys and staff on new tools and workflows, and gathering feedback to improve them Documenting workflows and maintaining a library of firm-approved AI processes and templates Staying current on legal technology and AI tools relevant to litigation practice Troubleshooting workflow issues and coordinating with technical staff and outside contractors as needed
Qualifications:
Prior paralegal or litigation support experience preferred but not required Genuine interest in legal technology and process improvement — this role is built for someone who wants to build things, not just use them Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to train others on new tools Comfortable working independently across multiple practice groups and projects at once Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with Filevine or similar case management systems a plus Experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) strongly preferred Comfortable testing, breaking, and refining new processes — this role requires iteration, not just execution A proactive, self-starting attitude and willingness to learn new technology quickly
