Role Description The Paralegal role is a full-time, on-site position Monday-Friday based in Detroit, MI. The paralegal will support staff by preparing and organizing legal documents, drafting correspondence, and assisting with filings. This role will be assisting with credit repair, foreclosures, garnishments, etc., and will carry out drafting's and court filings. Qualifications Previous experience in consumer protection, credit repair , collections, bankruptcy, financial services, or civil litigation preferred but not required. Working knowledge of credit reports and consumer-credit terminology is a plus Strong legal research, writing, proofreading, interviewing, and document-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Starting Salary:
$23-$25 per hour
DOE Mon-Friday Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
