We are a passionate, collaborative law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to our clients. This role involves providing essential support to attorneys in preparing and filing petitions and applications with federal government agencies. Under the supervision of attorneys, an Immigration Paralegal will assist in tasks such as drafting correspondence, researching immigration laws and procedures, managing case files, and interacting with clients. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Collect information and documentation from clients Prepare draft filings to relevant federal and state agencies Conduct research of immigration law and procedures Prepare draft correspondence and memorandum Enter case information into web-based case management system Track the status of filings and inform the client of any follow up that may be necessary Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Two years of immigration paralegal experience preparing and filing all types of immigrant applications preferred but not required Bachelor's degree preferred, but applicants with some college or equivalent experience are welcome Proficiency in the Arabic and/or Spanish language is preferred Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills Strong communication skills both written and verbal Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on ability to work with a team Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure Familiarity with immigration based software is helpful Maintain a professional appearance
