Job Description

Edustaff in partnership with Henry Ford College are seeking qualified Legal Assistant. This is an in-person, onsite position at Henry Ford College's campus at 5101 Evergreen Rd, Dearborn, MI 48128. Candidates will be employed by Edustaff who oversees your pay. Henry Ford College is the worksite and provides supervision.
Description Summary:
Provides professional administrative and operational support to the Office of Legal Services. Depending on the assignment and the candidate's experience, responsibilities may include legal administrative support, paralegal functions, office management, FOIA/public records coordination, contract administration, document management, research, and tracking of legal and administrative matters. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion in handling confidential information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a professional legal environment.
Core Competencies and Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years of relevant professional administrative, legal, paralegal, contract, records, or office management experience Strong Microsoft Office skills Excellent written and verbal communication Demonstrated attention to detail, organization, confidentiality, and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Legal, higher education, government, FOIA, contracts, or other regulated-environment experience preferred.
