Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to join a legal support team in Livonia, Michigan on a Long-term Contract basis. This role focuses on account oversight, legal documentation, and coordination with courts, attorneys, and internal partners to help keep matters moving efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and comfortable handling multiple files while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage collection-related legal support tasks by reviewing account status, updating files, and helping advance active matters.
  • Examine and organize account records to ensure documentation remains complete, current, and accessible.
  • Prepare and process legal and collections paperwork with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Track case developments, account activity, and important milestones to support effective follow-through.
  • Provide assistance on bankruptcy matters when assigned, including maintaining related records and status updates.
  • Serve as a point of contact with attorneys, court personnel, and internal departments to coordinate information and next steps.
  • Maintain precise records and carry out work in accordance with established legal and compliance standards.
  • Monitor deadlines across multiple accounts and prioritize work to keep deliverables on schedule.
