Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA) to support our attorneys across estate planning, probate, and business law matters. This role is central to keeping client matters organized, deadlines met, and communication running smoothly between our team and the clients we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and filings Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings Answer and direct phone calls; greet and assist clients and visitors Collect and organize client information Maintain and organize both electronic and physical filing systems Assist in drafting and compiling estate plans, probates, business documents, and company formations Maintain company record books File documents with the Court, Secretary of State, and County Recording Offices.
Key Qualifications:
Prior experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or in a law office setting preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and close attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and general office software; familiarity with practice management software a plus Ability to handle confidential information with discretion A collaborative, client-focused attitude
