This position supports our business law attorneys and estate planning attorneys with legal and administrative work, client communication, and case management. The ideal candidate has prior experience with law office support , and enjoys working both independently and as part of a small team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with document drafting and review Answering incoming calls and conducting client screening Manage client communication, scheduling, and follow-up correspondence Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda or summaries Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines using law office software Organize and manage electronic and paper client records Support marketing and administrative projects for the firm as needed Assist attorneys with invoicing clients
Desired Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Prior experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal strongly desired Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PDF editing software required Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage deadlines independently Familiarity with Minnesota e-filing is a plus
